The Macau Casino Project
The Portuguese inspired Chinese dream destination of 36 floors of mind-boggling gambling, plush guest rooms and flamboyant entertainment makes Crown Macau the busiest casino in the world.
To maintain the seamlessly crisp splendour, Macau needed an intrinsic communication network.
The essential demands of this network were
To be provided with short data service (SDS) for 400 users
To be provided with an interface to the hotel telephone system
To be provided by a gateway to the interface, to paging and an application used to alert the casino staff
To be provided by credible coverage on all 27 floors of the casino.
To be provided with the facility of training personnel’s to maintain the network
Artevea rose to the challenge, amalgamating their client’s demands by efficient project management, use of radio propagation, personalized network design, performing the factory acceptance test and fleet mapping.
How did Artevea achieve this?
Four transceiver (expandable to six) T-MATRIX F TBS, were set up and duly connected to the customer’s own antenna system to ascertain coverage in all extremities of the casino complex.
A Telephone Gateway was provided to maintain connection with the Hotel telephone Network. SDS gateways were setup to facilitate communication with 3rd Party Messenger Server. Dispatcher Terminal for making Audio/SDS/Status Calls and responding to Emergency Calls were established Network Management Terminal with configuration of SRH3500 & SRH3800 was set up. Lastly a radio programmer was developed.
